Scuzzed out Noise guitar and popcorn drums! Like walking in on a tuned-in crash-about jam. Heavily influenced by Th’ Faith Healers, this 2 piece between their crash cymbal and guitar pedals get a shit load of noise out of the most stripped back tunes.

We had an absolutely blinding day at the big chill bar in Bristol for the LeJog Fundraiser. Thoroughly enjoyed the set – probably my (jo) favourite Bare Threads gigs yet! Thanks to all for coming down & helping make a truly lovely day x

The Big Ride Fundraiser at Big Chill Bar – Bare Threads guitarists cycle-fest!

Adam & Jack, guitar and bass from Bare Threads, are taking on the hardcore task of cycling from Lands End to John O Groats this September along with a motley crew of best friends to raise some funds for a charity which is very close to all our hearts.

They have just confirmed a fundraising party for The Big Ride. It will be at the Big Chill Bar in Bristol (In keeping with the BIG theme!) on Sunday 15th August from 12pm until 1am & I’d like to invite you to come along!

Here’s what you can expect on the day:

* Great music throughout the day and night from some top DJs and bands. Confirmed so far are Pick Up The Pieces DJs, Bare Threads and Western Super Bear. More TBC.
* An open-entry table-tennis tournament, with a very special prize for the winner!
* A mini table football tournament, outside on the terrace, weather permitting!
* A delicious barbeque on the terrace, hosted by the Big Chill Bar (also weather permitting!)
* A special tombola raffle with prizes donated by some of our generous sponsors.
* An auction of beautiful artworks, donated by some excellent local artists, which will be on display throughout the event.
* Other interactive artsy-crafty fun!

All for £3…

new front page from the very talented Gareth Phillips esquire!

We are delighted to present a new front page for our Bare Threads website. We have been lucky enough to have Gareth Phillips join us as the latest addition to the Bare Threads Artheads group. He is a graphic designer, working across print, online and clothing.

He first worked with us creating online artwork for our digital download of Bare Threads single ‘Weary’.

His latest work for us is an excellent rework of our EP cover. He has created an image map and a series of lovely rollovers that link out to enable visitors to purchase our songs, merchandise and visit our other related site e.g. youtube, facebook. myspace etc.

We are delighted to have had the pleasure of Gareth’s extensive expertise and creativity & look forward to working with him in the future.
