Adam & Jack, guitar and bass from Bare Threads, are taking on the hardcore task of cycling from Lands End to John O Groats this September along with a motley crew of best friends to raise some funds for a charity which is very close to all our hearts.

They have just confirmed a fundraising party for The Big Ride. It will be at the Big Chill Bar in Bristol (In keeping with the BIG theme!) on Sunday 15th August from 12pm until 1am & I’d like to invite you to come along!

Here’s what you can expect on the day:

* Great music throughout the day and night from some top DJs and bands. Confirmed so far are Pick Up The Pieces DJs, Bare Threads and Western Super Bear. More TBC.
* An open-entry table-tennis tournament, with a very special prize for the winner!
* A mini table football tournament, outside on the terrace, weather permitting!
* A delicious barbeque on the terrace, hosted by the Big Chill Bar (also weather permitting!)
* A special tombola raffle with prizes donated by some of our generous sponsors.
* An auction of beautiful artworks, donated by some excellent local artists, which will be on display throughout the event.
* Other interactive artsy-crafty fun!
